ATWSP: All The World Sing Praise.

  Year 2000 Millennium Celebration

The global party to celebrate Christ's Birthday at the New Millennium started in Gisborne City, New Zealand on 1st January 2000 at 3:00pm. It was planned to finish 24 hours later in Hawaii at 5:00pm on 1st January 2000!

The initial concept for this global event 'ATWSP' was undertaken and organised by Cormac Brian O'Duffy of Ireland.

Cormac had received a God inspired vision to encourage leaders from around the globe to celebrate Christ's 2000th Birthday.  Therefore he set about writing letters of encouragement to Prime Ministers and World Leaders around the globe . . .

Gisborne NZ - would be the starting point - simply by way of the International dateline - approx. 1997 - New Zealand's Prime Minister Jim Bolger received such a letter, and made contact with the Mayor John Clarke of the Gisborne District Council and the King's Christian Network 'KCN' to support the initiative of Cormac O'Duffy.
